Ultra Lounge Red Bay Jerk Chicken opiniones
21Best jerk on the island. Best jerk sauce on the island. Best festival on the island. Been coming here for years and years
Stopped off to grab dinner on the way home. Was ready in just minutes, well priced and tasted delicious
Simple and authentic. Positive people on the counter. Great take-out jerk chicken and pork.
You'll see the smoke from the street and smell the deliciousness too lol Alexander and his team were great! They're open late night and the sauces are incredible. Get a large!
Best jerk Pork in town as it usually is very moist. Jerk Chicken is very good, just a lot of small bones due to the cuttings of the chicken. Festival is a hit and miss. Last time it was hard a rock.
Good jerk chicken and pork, have it spicy or mild thats what the chef always ask, but its delicous.
This place was great, got dinner one night and went back to have lunch for the next day. Reasonably priced, feed 2 for $20 usd.
The experience was cool, and you can smell this place (plus see the smoke) kilometers away. They were sold out of chicken, so we had the jerk pork, and keep in mind the meals have to be requested with either rice and beans or festival (fried bread).
The jerk chicken here is excellent; it is usually very busy so the wait is long. It is a grab and go location, there is no real ambiance that would have you sit and eat there - but if you are looking for a nice Caribbean jerk meal - this is the spot!
Great Jerk Chicken or Pork for a low price of $14 CI for the large container. The chicken and pork was absolutely tasty and not too spicy with the extra provided sauce to kick it up a notch if you wanted more heat. A definite unseen gem.
Best Jerk On Island! Juicy and Delicious! Well season and chopped up right! You won't be disappointed!
Delicious, and cheaper than groceries! The pork was great, especially with the sauce. Would be great to take to the beach, too.
If I want jerk chicken/pork, this is where I'm at! Always fresh & flavorful. Even if you have to wait, trust me, worth it. Andre is a cool guy & always has a joke or two. Simple. Delicious. No more needs saying. It's a roadside stop so be cautious parking and driving off.
Had to wait 20 minutes or so for the chicken but was worth the wait. Great tasting jerk with a slight spice heat and very moist. The pork would have been another half hour. Next time.
The best jerk on the island. As good as the late, lamented Seymour's (I've been coming here a LONG time). MUCH better than more 'name' places IMHO. The marinade makes the chicken so dang flavorful, you actually don't really need sauce. But if you want a kick, the vinegar and tomato (very light on the tomato) will bring the heat. Even the festival has a nice flavor. Don't let the 'roadside stand ' scare you away.it is seriously legit!
Good jerk and soup. It's a little disorganized on busy nights which can be a little frustrating. Cash only.
EASILY the best jerk pork/chicken stand on the island. Quality is consistently awesome. Andre (owner/operator) is from Jamaica and super nice guy. Prices are reasonable and haven't really increased in the 7 yrs I've been on island. Few things to note however:
1. The meat is often not ready when you go there. If it is when you arrive then consider yourself lucky and timing impeccable! But if there IS a wait, those who know, know it is definitely worth it. Ask them how long and come back, or bring some beers and sit down at the picnic tables for a bit. The meat is cooked in batches so when it is sold it is absolutely fresh and juicy. Juicy jerk (esp chicken) is TRICKY. If you can't appreciate that good food can require a wait then go get dry meat elsewhere!
2. Not sure of actual opening hours, they are only open in the evenings, and not sure they are there during weekdays except Friday and maybe Thurs. Might be closed Sunday as well. Always there on Fri/Sat night though.
3. Cash only, as is the case for most road side stands.
4. Try the hot sauce and the festival (if they have them)!
FAVOURITE PLACE FOR JERK! So fresh and juicy and hot off the grill. They only serve chicken and pork, but both made very well. They also serve Festival as well, which I think is the best on Island.
I always ask for extra hot sauce and their regular sauce is amazing as well.
Food always not ready.have to wait half an hour or more just to get something.every weekend it's practically the same thing. #annoyed
Vacationing from NYC. Eating out at all different restaurants and trying different foods is a hobby of mine. This road side shack by far blows away any restaurants along SMB. When I visit an island im personally more into the culture of local foods then i am the touristy restaurants. This place made my trip and something I will never forget. Ya mon!
