Sunshine Grill

Yummm, the food here was SO good. We both had mahi tacos, mudslide and a beer. Expensive but what isn't it GC. Staff were also very friendly!

Family memories were made many years ago in the Sunshine Suits, pool with the little ones who are now teenagers! Having margaritas and the tiny ice creams! Had to come back to revisit and Sunshine Grill did not disappoint! The ice cream machine was broken though

This place overdelivers for it's size. Food and staff are top notch. It is just a bit small.

Best Shrimp tacos that we had in long time. Located in Sunshine resort next to the pool. Happy hour prices were decent for the island. They have kids menu/ options too. Free icecream for all the visitors.

Stopped in for lunch one day and went back for breakfast. The food is delicious and the service is amazing. I loved the cocktails and the variety of the menu. Chef Viceroy stopped by the table and introduced himself. My mother and I had an amazing time and highly recommend Sunshine Grill.

We didn't stay at the resort, just bopped in for a cocktail and a bite. Tacos were great, the burger slider is one of the best I've had. Usually sliders are overcooked on a dry bun, not the case here! The staff was very nice. Thank you!

Wow an amazing find! Without a doubt this is a top place to eat for breakfast, lunch or dinner or all of the above when you visit Grand Cayman Islands (across from Westin Hotel behind the small plaza). Even better when you stay at their hotel Sunshine Suites you get 10% discount on your meals. Breakfast is amazingly delicious especially their freshly squeezed orange juice. Unfortunately, coffee isn't the greatest whether you go here or anywhere else they're not known for the rich tasting brew.
Lunch were even better than breakfast. Known for their fresh fish, their fish tacos is a MUST TRY. Waitstaffs are all wonderful and pleasant and attentive. Outdoor sittings, even under the umbrellas and no matter where you sit, you'll still have the sun heating your body quick. Better to eat indoor or maybe they should move all their dining seatings on the opposite side of the pool. Their calamari lightly battered and very yummy. The restaurant itself is cute and acquaint. These pictures are our breakfast we had. Calamari apps as part of lunch along with our fish tacos. Geez I thought I had a picture of their fish tacos. Sorry about that. I did not try their mix drinks since I'm not into cocktails. However, they look very refreshing. Don't let the atmosphere fool you. You will not be disappointed with their food. High end hotels rarely have the best food. Places like these do. Don't be a snub and try this restaurant.

This was a pleasant surprise for us. We had just finished a stingray tour with Captain Marvin's and when we got back to their office we asked for a quick lunch recommendation. They recommended Sunshine Grill right behind their office. We had the fish tacos and fries. We ate them so fast we didn't get any pictures!

Fantastic! Great laid back little place with excellent food and drinks. Everyone was amazingly friendly.

When you think of the Caribbean, you often imagine delicious food and strong cocktails. Sunshine Grill offers just that! The wonderful service, delicious food, pool side dining are all signature here. I love this place and you will too.

One of our favorites on the Island. Great takes on family food in poolside atmosphere. Don't miss it!

Great service. The food was delicious and the prices were fair. We got the mahi tacos. It’s off the beaten path so look closely. It’s at the sunshine resort off the main road. It’s a poolside shack. We arrived sweaty and in shorts so no worries about attire. TRY IT!

Service was slow. Had to remind the waitress twice to bring the bill, and even when she did, she forgot to bring soft serve ice cream for the kids, something that this place is known for and is given to each customer after their meal as courtesy. As for food, you're better off going to Burger King. Fries were stale, tacos tasteless. Vibe is nice though.

We keep coming back because the food is fabulous and the service is too. Like a few places here it’s not the location or decor that brings you back, just good food with a “locals” feel. Have only had breakfast there - probably a dozen times.

My husband, daughter and I dined for lunch (Wednesday 12/14) at the Sunshine Grill. I am sure the waitresses will remember us.

Both my husband and daughter were transported by ambulance to the Emergency at Cayman Hospital. Both my husband and daughter have experienced toxin poisoning (most likely from the fish tacos). Fortunately my daughter is doing better, but my husband is not.

I reported this twice to the Sunshine Grill by email, but never received a courtesy of a response or resolution.

Service was extremely slow even for a slow afternoon. Food is good but don't go there if you're short on time.

The food is incredible, as is the service. Cute little hotel bar that we enjoyed several meals at during our week long stay. The burgers are unbelievable.

The food was very tasty and the drinks were good. They charged decent prices for their food and drinks. They had an outdoor and indoor sitting space. There is a pool nearby but there is plenty of space for children to play. They also have kid sized orders on their menu. It's a place worth going to eat when you are visiting the Cayman islands.
