23 We got off the tender from our cruise ship. Took a left on the street & walked about 3 or 4 blocks . Found an open table on the front patio . Great fish tacos and chicken nachos .Tried 3 different local brews .All were very tasty !
Nice atmosphere and great staff .
Would go back in a heartbeat. I loved that this place felt less touristy.
We walked around the main dock area and everything was just full of people and the options were very limited. It was all burgers, wings and items as such.
The location is perfect because it's still close enough so that you can enjoy drinks and food right before boarding, and it is right by a cute art gallery.
Their Cayman Spritz is my favorite drink ever. Their prices were good and the food was nice.
Definitely recommend it to cruise travelers!
Excellent food with a beautiful view. Lovely stream of fresh breeze that really gives you that Caribbean vibe.
Went with a friend, we were on vacation and we had a beer while watching the sunset. We ordered shrimp and lobster, excellent, and we were served by a pretty and nice cuban girl, Grethel. In general, very good food and service.
Sat down offered a drink been and 30 min since I finished the drink meanwhile the bartenders friends at the bar have had 3 free drinks “they are on the house guys” tried to ask for a drink I’ll get to you buddy clearly not interested in anyone who’s not a friend or female.
Poor service
The food was amazing and the service was good. It has a really nice gastropub vibe. It caters to all tastes but it has a nice vibe for an Englishman away from home!
The service and food was great I got the chicken and shrimp curry was amazing and the fruit punch was to die for!
Service was excellent. My sister and I shared the WW Pit Beef and the Jerk Chicken. Pit beef was very good. The jerk chicken was too spicy for us and they gladly made us another one. We'll be back for happy.
Short stay in grand cayman. Stopped here to eat and it was super amazing. Will stop here everytime visiting. And get thier fruit punch
I got rotten chicken and the owner did have the courtesy of apologizing but making excuses
Went in, party of 10.2 people were hungry after diving. There were 4 of us at a table and 6 at the other. We ordered water and a nacho appetizer with beef. The table of 6 got their appetizer after 45 minutes, and after an hour we asked what was happening. We were told we were the next ticket. After another 30 minutes, they brought nachos with no beef. We told them to take it back, and walked out.too bad - I had a $20 bill for a tip just for the nachos.but im sure they didn't appreciate us only ordering nachos.
Beyond that, the food looked good.but if you dont order a load, they won't care.at all about you.
Scam beware! They refused to have me pay in local currency. They insisted in US dollars but then charged me 40% more than the current exchange rate.
Its now called the white whale.great service, great sunset.foods great.music could be a tad louder to drown out others convo and give it more vibe.chairs are not comfortable too sm for my butt lol.but service food scenery takes precedent
Update
Chair are much better thank you.prices increased
We were in Grand Cayman on a cruise. We'd finished our excursion and were starving! We went to the restaurant upstairs. I believe it's called boathouse grill. It was delicious and a great experience.
Mahi sandwich and Salmon are great!
Alii is a great server. Our family met her one day and we came back the day after just because of the great service
Used to be well-known for their happy hour, with live DJ now they're becoming well-known for weak drinks and bad service. Staff blames changes and measured drinks on new management that they are afraid to talk to; It was apparently recently bought out. It's clear the restaurant group that bought them out does not understand that there is a clear distinction between running restaurants and running bars, as they have no idea how to run a bar. Sad to lose this hangout as I won't be back. The George Town Revitalization Initiative should be concerned as they are doing quite the opposite.
We stopped for a drink. It was very enjoyable relaxing sitting in balcony overlooking the water. Caution the prices are not in American dollars so everything is 25% higher. So don't be surprised when you pay $1.25 per dollar, so 4 dollars on menu costs 5 dollars in US dollars.
If you are coming for the day by cruise ship, Bar Crudo is THE Best stop in town before, during and after a fabulous day of shopping in Grand Cayman. Free Wifi, Delicious Appetizers and small plates, Wonderful Martinis, awesome local beers and Maria the bartender is incredibly fabulous. Highly reccomend!
Has an excellent lunch here out on the balcony on the second floor overlooking the harbor. White linen service and delicious fresh ingredients. If you want to skip seven mile beach and go to lunch, this place is recommended. Less touristy and more local than most places in this town. Probably where the money launderers and their bankers eat after a hard day's tax evasion.
Friendly service and tasty light bites. Chop salad was excellent. Good place for a quick pit stop.
