Alfresco Restaurant

Good restaurant. Good and bad location. Great being able to belly up to the beach and snorkel. Fresh water shower and amenities here. No frills. Service was slow and inaccurate. Broken glass along the entryway. Homeless encampment next door. Decent experience, buyer beware.

Food was super good. Probably one of the best Chicken Fettuccine Alfredos I have ever had. The Hubby got lasagna which was also good. We are definitely going back to try the other items on the menu!

Food presentation was nice. Reasonable price. Unorganized. Nonchalant. I waited for the food way TOO long. I was already there so decided I might as well stay.

If you are looking for authentic caribbean dishes, Italian traditional ones, decent drinks on the waterfront, Alfresco got it all.
Here you will feel really 'welcome to the Cayman Islands'.

You can try fish, pasta, even a simple salad.but I highly recommend the blackened Snapper.

Great patio and food was good but paled in comparison to the meals we’ve had in the Cayman so far. Lots of bugs and they provided bug spray which was a really nice surprise.

Small and simple with a deck full of seating with umbrellas near the beach at West End. We had two different cheesecakes and savoured every bite!

Nice location on a deck overlooking the ocean! Food was prepared well and had local flair. Staff was very nice, we will be back!

Best service in cayman. Food was wow so delicious. It’s small inside but patio seating is more spacious and nice view of the beach. Got the Alfredo pasta which comes with garlic bread, added shrimp. Lasagna is good also. They’re drinks are tasty. Especially the margaritas. My only negative is the chicken that kept coming onto the patio had some odd looking diseased legs.

We are so happy we found this place. It was not run over with tourists. It was a 2 to 1 mix if locals to tourists. Had a good atmosphere. We had 2 people helping our table. The first was a young woman on her first week. She was pleasant, friendly and still developing confidence. The second woman was obviously and old hand at this and was quick, efficient and no nonsense. They were both happy to accommodate, answer questions and make sure our needs were seen to promptly.

The food was wonderful. Wife thought hers a little salted, but I had the snapper with crusty mashed potatoes. Some of the best fish I have had in years. Great dish and will order again. All our sides were great.

Parking might be a bit of a squeeze in the little lot. You might need to park off the street. The inside is quaint, full of atmosphere. We ate outside on the patio that sits on the beach. Great location. Perfect view, you can catch the sunset here.

We were directed to this pace by a local. Excellent food and service, even linen napkins. Eat on the breezy deck overlooking a clean, empty beach. It's a friendly local restaurant but a little weathered.

We arrived and ordered our appetizers and meal and asked that they bring it all out together. Even using “island time” we waited a very long time for our food. Unfortunately when they brought it out they forgot the lobster curry and the pizza. The food overall was mediocre - the cracked conch was chewy and so was the lobster curry though the Hawaiian pizza and conch fritters were very good. The lovely atmosphere by the water was spoiled by the cigarette smoke courtesy of the smokers right next to the dining area. I’d recommend this as a carry out option only.

Great local place with friendly staff and a nice outdoor patio. The grouper special is amazing.

We had the fish and chips. Fish was grouper, and it was amazing! Sunset was also amazing. Very satisfying after an afternoon of diving.

Excellent food, service, and views! I ordered the potato crusted grouper and it was very unique and tasted amazing. If you love mashed potatoes then this is a dish worth trying. My partner got the blackened snapper and that was tasty as well. We also loved the conch fritters. Overall, everything about this place was great and all food was served fresh and hot. We just wrapped up a week staying across the street from Alfresco.

The very first night we arrived our entire family was hangry and ready for a substantial meal without a long wait or a long drive. We literally wandered across the street and found this place and could not have been more happy.

Over the week we ate here four times and every single time the food was absolutely fantastic, the service top-notch and ridiculously friendly (witty and personable), and the ambiance cannot be beat. The sunsets here are the best- a view for dinner that absolutely cannot be beat.

Much of the menu has an Italian flair although they offer an Asian stir fry with vegetables, quesadillas as well as a hamburger meal. We pretty much ordered close to everything on the menu as a family of five throughout our various visits from pizza, fish & chips to seafood linguine.

As an added side note, if you are into picking up beach glass the beach directly in front of this restaurant is perfect for that sort of thing.

This is hands' down our favorite restaurant we tried on the island- absolutely worth the visit and I HIGHLY recommend. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing, authentic, Cayman food! Last minute stop and do not regreat it. Amazing views, amazing food and service.

Our waitress was fabulous, the food was also fabulous, they even helped me with my allergies:) and the beach at night was just perfect. Great experience!

The ambience was great, with the white sand beach at sunset.
The food surpassed expectations and the pan fried grouper is a must have!

Wonderful local restaurant! Be sure to sit outside, right on the beach! The kids were able to play in the sand while we waited for food. Great for families!
