40Ordered drinks and desert.both of our drinks came FULL of bugs! The waitress informed me that she didn't make the drinks.as if it would make a difference. We did not stay for dessert.
This was a great restaurant. Friendly staff. Good food. Great ambiance. Definitely would recommend going here except for the locals. Literally the most absurd and rude experience in my life. Locals kicked us out of our seats and wanted to brawl over it.
Snapper was tasty & fresh. Risotto overdone with basil. My order was incorrect. Forget the lobster soup. Waiter was a bit overwhelmed by service crowd. Pleasant atmosphere. Ok at best for the $90 no drinks or dessert lunch.
This place seems to be owned by the (now closed) Decker's owners still, so the unlimited lobster tail is EXACTLY the same. That is a 5/5 experience.
Overall though.
Menu is very mediocre. It is a "high dining" sort of restaurant with small expensive portions.
Lunch at the bar inside with numerous flies buzzing around. Owner standing there the whole time with his coffee and ignoring the fact. Too bad. Food is decent but careless on hygiene. Get rid of the flies!
All you can eat lobsters were great, I’m guessing they were frozen imported lobster tails instead of fresh local ones but nevertheless were very good, recommend opting for the a la carte if you can’t stand eating lobsters non-stop (mash / veg etc don’t get refilled), would suggest to the restaurant cooking the lobster in different flavors / sauces / recipes for selection otherwise the only grill option and butter sauce can be a bit bland / sickening, with more options I am sure customers would not hesitate to come back rather than just be a one off ‘give it a try’ thing.
To avoid mosquitos, don’t go for the first 6-8pm seating when it’s most rampant, good thing is they did have bugs spray when asked.
The snapper was fantastic and the staff was attentive and we were seated right away on New Years Eve right out front where we wanted but the waitress wasn't super helpful with the menu, which was pretty minor but the reason for the 4 stars on service.
Lobster specials and Red Snapper with risotto. The food was nicely cooked and tasty. Good size portion. Nice wine list selections. Went in around 4pm with the kids. Attentive staff gave them pictures for coloring to keep them busy.
After walking around the Caymans for the day this was an amazing place to stop for a drink. Innovative and delicious drinks. I was able to sit outside enjoy the weather and outdoor market style and take in paradise. There was light music in the area that also assisted with the atmosphere.
Lovely quiet place. Sat on the patio. The food was delicious. Family ate the following items: Lobster, mixed seafood grill, Chilean sea bass and mussels. Desserts also delicious.
I didn't actually eat there. It was an all white party that I attended. The people were lovely. The drinks were flowing. I had a great time.
Went there with my friends, and despite my baby face I wasn't treated like a child rather I was greeted with respect and escorted to a table. The waiter was really kind and patient and the atmosphere, although a bit much was really nice. This is not a cheap place to eat but they do have a nice lobster special on Tuesday and Thursday.
Good ambiance, great servers and good food. A bit on the pricy side but so is everything these days. I always have a good time at Abacus!
I went there in a large group and had the best service. We had the supper lunch menu and the food was A+ and they were very professional and courteous. I would recommend!
This little restaurant and bar was a delight. We had a few drinks at the bar before heading to our table. The homemade sangria was fabulous! Okay, can you say LOBSTER. This was the best LOBSTER I've had in the Caribbean. Everything was deliousous!
The all u can eat lobster was fantastic.
Update- Went a seond time a year later and once again they did not disappoint. Lobster was fantastic and the service was with a smile.
Leon and Pamela made our 40th anniversary dinner amazing and the food was fresh, cooked to perfection, and served with care. An awesome experience!
Tried their "all you can eat - lobster" menu.
One was a little overcooked so it was mushy but when you can have all you can eat, one didn't spoil the evening.
The taste was consistent as well, normally with these "all you can eat" deals, the taste tend to wane after the first 3-4.
You will get mashed potato and veggies with the initial meal and then afterward they continue to bring you as many lobster tails as you can eat.
The veggies were cooked perfectly and not overcooked.
Be careful not to eat too many though, all that iodine is not healthy.
The location was really nice, in the middle of Camana Bay, nice outdoor service but you can eat indoors if you prefer.
Best piece of fish I had on the island, red snapper over risotto. Service was great, drink menu was creative, and the patio was perfect for our group.
Great ambience and even better food. The all you can eat lobster dinner did it for my wife as she loves her some lobster.
